TAKAI*PRINCESSES*

this is my niece Siosiana JAELYNN Takai born June 11,2006. It was a very emotional day when I found out I had a niece(daughter of my brother Tuuta). 7 months after my brother had returned back from his mission,We had a FHE at my parents. That day my brother then told all us that he has a daughter. Hhhhmmm first thing that ran through my head was like Are you sure she is yours? How do u know for sure? yada yada yada...several questions running throuhg my head. He then pulls out all these pictures of this lil girl I have never met and Im just in shock, WOW shes so BEAUTIFL!!! that very same day my brother asked if we wanted to meet her, ME UHH DUH OF COURSE lol... omgeee when I seen this lil girl she acted as if shes known me forever. people can say all they want but he is my brothers daughter.
I've only been in Jaelynns life for almost 2 years and I feel like I've known her forever. This lil girl is definitely my lil minnie me lol. Words cannot express how much I love her. Im glad we were able to be in her life at a young age, even though I wish I would've known from birth but I believe in things happen for a reason. If it werent for my brother returning back from his mission early, I dnt think we wouldve EVER known about her being our VERY OWN TAKAI PRINCESS.... She has such an amazing personality, very smart and very mature for her age*yup just like aunty* lol.
                          I love you Jaelynn

May 10,2011 my niece Ariyah Nanuola Liti Takai was born into the crazy world. beautiful daughter of my lil bro Billy&his beautiful girlfriend Alexia...aaahhaaa yep billy is now a father. I was very emotional that day when my mom walked into the waiting room to tell me SHE IS HERE... i told myself ok, now no crying cause i dnt wanna look like a cry baby like my mom lol jk but really my mom was crying the whole she was in the room while alexia was pushing.. Im so happy that my own brothers are having their own babies. Tired of them treating my boys like soldiers, now its my kids turn to treat their kids like slaves lol JK never that.hahaha. I was very shocked that my brother asked me to name his daughter, I never expected that, but he asked. So i call my mom and Im asking her, wat do u want to name billys daughter she tells me,name her after you or my dads sister. so we go on discussing what to name her. Before either myself or my brothers had kids I never thought it was a big deal on what name to name ur child. But when I was trying to figure out a name for my niece my brain was just BLANK..really?lol. So the night before Alexia is goes in to get induced my brother texts me to remember to be there when baby is born cause Im naming her, Im like DUH. and following that txt he says and we want Ariyah in the name... To myself I LOVE THAT NAME...so i just named her middle name the same as mines and there you go**ARIYAH NANUOLA LITI TAKAI** now my lil bro needs to take her outta lock down n let me take her lol.

TONGA SIDE SCHOOL 1995-2000

At first when I was sent to Tonga, I remember crying on the airplane when we were leaving for Tonga. It was Aug 1994 when I left and I was only 6 years old. I was joined with my 2 lil brothers. Now Im grown, Im so thankful for that opportunity I was given to grow up in tonga, learning the language and the culture, not just that... but Im fortunate to have grown up with my Great-grandmother Margaret Hansen and My grandmother Siunipa Takai who I am proud to say Im named after.
My life growing up in Tonga was THEE BEST, no lie. I first started at a government school named Kolonga G.P.S(Government.Primary.School) where I was Class 1, which every village has a G.P.S, The next year I was registered into Tonga Side School, I guess there was a waiting list, because back then, EVERYONE and they dogs were trying to get into T.S.S(LOL) In the mean time my brother and I had to go to this seventh day adventist school waiting for our names to reach the top...really? In just 2 months we got accepted into T.S.S, by then the year ended so I was to start Class 2 in T.S.S......

HOW IMPORTANT SCHOOL IS IN TONGA

I just remember every time we had a test, Literally everyone couldn't wait for the teacher to announce who was top on the test and 2,3,4,5,and on.... Ok Im not trying to brag but I was SMART(hear me I WAS smart)lol. Every friday we would have like a competition against classes on the stage in front of the rest of the school. There was Class 1 through Form 2 (first grade-8th grade) at my school. We would compete on everything,  MATH was major in Tonga. It was like if you failed math you would be ashamed(for reals though). When I was in 2nd grade I knew how to say my times tables from 1-12 and at a sec beat, no lie the teachers there were crucial!!

                  GRADUATION**TANAKI TU'UNGA**

AT the end of every year there is graduation. Every class graduated to the next, so it was a ceremony for Class 1-Form 2... And what everyone shoots for is CAPTAIN OF THE CLASS. When I was in 2nd grade I was CAPTAIN of my class, it never really meant anything to me besides my grandmother being so happy. The older I got the bigger my head got,as I was the little girl from Kolonga always captain of the class. I was Captain every Year until Class 5 I came second place....oh was I soooo Mad when my name was called second to last... The beginning of Class 6, it was April 2000 my mom came to tonga and brought us all back. I was happy but then I was sad. I really wanted to go to Liahona High School. My dads mom was methodist so she wanted me to go to Tonga High. I really wish I just stayed in Tonga and finished school. Who knows maybe I would be on my way achieving my Law Degree (lol). School in tonga is DIFFERENT from out here. Kids in tonga would rather be known being a geek. Where out here in the states, if your a geek your out of the picture. people can say that school is the same everywhere, which is true. But I can actually say School in Tonga is different, ONLY because everyones mind set in tonga is the same that the results will show at the end of the year at graduation, and its pretty embarrassing because its an Actual ceremony so if you last in the class you cant hide it because its announced at graduation, lol. They also announce the top student in math/language/science. Pretty cool stuff maybe if they do that here kids would be more serious.lol
Miss my T.S.S days

MOTIVATION in MY EYES

January 15,2007 @ 7:15am we were blessed with our first born Isaiah King Ezekiel Vea(aka ZEE) weighing at 7lbs 11oz 21.5 inches tall. Oh boy I thought I was going to die, being in labor for 27 hours and finally having to have a c-section. I was terrified at first, but it was my son or myself. I am truly blessed to have Zee in my life. I know that he was brought into my life for a purpose. Everyday he teaches me something new. He is a lil smarty pants. Can I just say I had it easy with potty training Zee because literally my parents did all the work lol. Zee has a personality that is just so cute, funny and different. He is always asking to go to school, and one of my many tricks into getting him to bed is telling him that lil boys that go to school goes to sleep early... One thing that I am doing with Zee is I am always talking to him in tongan, or when Im just saying something is tongan he is always asking me what does that mean. So funny and he pronounces the words really good but at the same time funny. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to live in tonga and learn the language so I am going to give my kids the same opportunity and teach them. I love being a mother. I never for once thought that I was going to be a mom at such young age. I do not regret any of it at all for I am thankful to be the mother to Zee. Zee is really a picky eater. He is really skinny. When he was a baby he was such a lil fatty. When he turned 2 years old he started stretching but getting skinny also. I was worried so every doc appointment I would ask and I get the same response all the time. That he is above average height so he weights is good. He eats very little but a lot through out the day. He is such a good brother to his lil brother 'One. He is always willing to help 'One with everything. Well of course there are times when 'One steps up and Zee is always trying to avoid bby One but cannot for a reason lol. Its always funny when I catch Zee hit his lil brother. I always have to sit him down and ask him why? and his response is always because he's BUGGING me lol. I love my Zee and grateful to be his mommy

December 16,2009 I was blessed with my second born Sione'one Julian Vea @6:08am weighing at 7lbs 6oz 20.5 inches long. I thought I almost died when I was in labor with my first,oh boy with baby 'One I was trying to have a V-Back and when I was in labor for 3 days...holly cow. At the end I ended up having another c-section. This lil boy is the total opposite of my oldest. He is just a lil matengata'a(die hard) His appetite is just off the hook lol. He has such a different personality and it just cracks me up. He is 1 years old acting like a 5 year old lol. I'm truly blessed to have him choose me as his mother. He loves to eat and always wants to play with his older brother. Everything Zee does he has to do as well. It just amazes me how 2 lil spirits come from me and are just the opposite. Im still learning all his different characters and how he is. He always wants to be where ever his older brother is. When e cant find his older brother he just gets all sad calling GEEEE GEEEE so darn cute. I love my ONE and grateful to be his mommy!
And if you notice their baby pictures are pretty much identical. The funny thing is my sister in-law took both pictures and they are both 5 months old on the picture. She didn't even plan it but it happened. They are 2 years and 11 months apart.

**where it all began**

So this is how it all began.
In 2005 all stakes all joined together to celebrate the 200th Birthday of Joseph Smith. I was one of the dance also every single young women. So me and my best friend are just chilling against the gate waiting for our performance and BAAAM I see this guy right, ahaha and I just like damm he's hott and my bff who is Leva Sekona is like oh thats my cousin. So she calls him over n introduces us. His name was Unga and gaadang when he started talking I was like oh what the sexy accent, but I couldnt understand him ahaha like I cared anyways i was just admiring him ahaha. Well from there we started talking. Well then from there we started dating. Can I just say it was a relationship from HELL ahaha. ex: crazy exes ahaha oh my sometimes I wonder WTH was I thinking. aahaha
1 yr later  SURPRISE I find out Im expecting. Holly crap I was going crazy, I literally was thinking about abortion. I was excited for graduation&my trip back to tonga. So many things were running through my mind, but the only thing that I was MOST scared for was my parents. I did not know what to do. So I just left it at that. I just wanted to just let it ride and or I don't even know what exactly I was thinking. The crazy thing is that I was so scared but I wanted to go home already and tell my parents. Yet I was terrified. So I had my aunty Lea call my parents to her house so I can tell them there. OMG I thought my life was going to end that night. I can still remember that day as if it were yesterday. As soon as I told my dad, I expected something else to happen. Instead he calls me "come here and sit on my lap" I walk over and he is just in tears telling me, that NO MATTER WHAT I will always be his Princess. We then talked and my dad tells me I have to tell my brothers...Yes and on top of that it was Monday and for some reason this particular Monday ALL my brothers were all at the house waiting for family home evening. Im so blessed to have brothers who LOVE me so much. They had to accept what I had done. My brothers are my everything after my lil family. I love them to the moon and back a million times. Well I told my brothers and I felt so much better after. 3 months later I tied the knot with my Husband Sione Mo'unga Vea *Unga* July 15,2006 the day after my 18th birthday lol and we are still GOING STRONG will celebrate our 5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY THIS JULY.

May 8th**MOTHERS DAY**

Today is a very special day to all of us. Mothers day is very special and I am very thankful for the mother that I was born to SULIETI UNALOTO KI 'UIHA KIOA-TAKAI.  The backbone to our family, the teacher, nurse, care giver I can go on about my mother. One unique thing about my mom that you can ask anyone in our family about is, if you just say TANGI she starts crying. That I love and adore my mom about. I give thanks to my mother for everything that she has done for me. I was a really stubborn little girl growing up and I have grown up to grow out of that.
I am proud to say that I AM WHO I AM TODAY because of MY MOTHER. I am now a mother myself and I FULLY understand and appreciate all the teachings that my mom would always (in our native language) akonaki'i my brothers and I. As a little girl growing up my mom would always akonaki'i us on our drives to mutual, church, volleyball games, basketball games, store, grandmas house, name it u got it and I would always try to close my ears and not listen. Now I am a mother I am very much grateful for everything that my mother taught me. I may not be the typical perfect tongan girl but I was in my mothers eyes. Forever my heart goes out to the only special woman in my life "MY MOTHER"
